In Chhattisgarh, twenty-seven Maoists surrendered in Sukma district
Among them are ten women Maoists. Sixteen of these surrendered ultras were carrying a total reward of fifty lakh rupees on their heads.
They laid down arms before Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan and other senior officers of the Police and the Central Reserve Police Force at the district headquarters.
Each surrendered Maoist will be provided an incentive of fifty thousand rupees along with other benefits under the Chhattisgarh Government’s rehabilitation policy.
