Russian President Vladimir Putin had a brief conversation with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, during which they exchanged mutual invitations to pay official visits to each other’s countries, Kremlin spokesman Dmirty Peskov said on Friday.

Putin is on a working visit to Turkmenistan.

“Putin had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with the Pakistani president. First, they exchanged mutual invitations to pay official visits to Russia and Pakistan respectively. They confirmed the intention of the two countries to intensify bilateral ties in all areas, political interest,” Peskov told media
