External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Fiuggi, Italy, on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ meeting.

In a post on X, the EAM said that the two sides also discussed the state of the world and the Indo-US partnership.

“Always good to meet @SecBlinken, this time in Fiuggi, Italy.

“Discussed the state of the world and India-US partnership, which continues to move forward.”

It could possibly be the last meeting between EAM and Blinken as the Donald Trump administration is set to be inaugurated on January 20, 2025, which would bring with it new officials.
