The External Affairs Ministry (MEA) said that both nations undertook a comprehensive review of bilateral, regional and international issues during the FOCs. The discussions focussed on various key topics including progress made in political relations, trade and investments, cooperation in Science and Technology, cultural relations and tourism. The ministry added that both sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including developments in their neighbourhoods, multilateralism through BRICS, UN, EU and the Non-Aligned Movement, along with global developments of mutual interest.
