The Ministry of Labour and Employment today signed a memorandum of understanding in New Delhi with a private company to enhance employment and skill development for the youth. The MOU was signed in the presence of Union Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mandaviya underlined the importance of job creation and employment generation as key pillars of a strong and self-reliant India. He said that collaboration with private platforms will not only provide access to a wider pool of job opportunities but also strengthen the nation’s economy by developing crucial sectors such as agriculture, service and infrastructure. He added that the National Career Service Portal is playing a key role, with over fifty-one lakh registrations and forty-six lakh vacancies listed, including twenty-eight thousand international jobs.
