Vice Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari has said, that the Indian Air Force will be increasing its presence in the Lakshadweep Islands. The Air Marshal added, drones will be used on a larger scale for transportation between the islands.

 

Speaking at the Outreach Programme and Exhibition on sea cargo drones in Thiruvananthapuram today, Air Marshal Tiwari emphasized the role of indigenous industries and startups from Kerala in developing drones for the Air Force. He also inaugurated the Mehar Baba Competition, a key initiative by the Indian Air Force aimed at accelerating innovations in drone applications.
