The Indian Army has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, to develop a fully indigenous Artificial Intelligence-based system through collaborative research and innovation. The memorandum aims at addressing emerging challenges in the digital information landscape.
In a social media post, the Indian Army said that the initiative reaffirms the army’s commitment towards building a self-reliant India. It will bring together institutional experience, academic expertise and Indian industry to strengthen self reliant capability development.
