The Indian Navy  inducted Anjadip, the fourth Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC). The vessel wascommissioned in the presence of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi at Chennai Port. The Indian Navy said that the indigenously built vessel, the 77-metre Dolphin Hunter, is equipped with advanced lightweight torpedoes, Anti-Submarine Warfare rockets, hull-mounted sonar and a high-speed water-jet propulsion system. It has over 80% indigenous content, in line with theAatmanirbhar Bharat vision. This initiative strengthens India’s coastal defence and anti-submarine capabilities.
