Indian Naval Ship Sudarshini arrived at Sète, France, as part of the ongoing landmark transoceanic expedition Lokayan-26. The Ministry of Defence said that the visit marks a significant milestone in the ship’s journey and underscores India’s commitment to maritime cooperation and cultural diplomacy. During its stay, INS Sudarshini will participate in the Escale à Sète’, a gathering of traditional tall ships and seafaring communities in Europe. Prior to its arrival inSète, INS Sudarshini successfully completed port calls in Oman, Egypt and Malta, covering five thousand five hundred nautical miles. Throughout its voyage, the ship has served as the Floating Ambassador, showcasing the nation’s rich maritime heritage whilst engaging with the global community.
