Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the country remains steadfast in its resolve to defeat terrorism and dismantle its enabling ecosystem.
In a social media post on the completion of one year of Operation Sindoor, Mr Modi said that the Indian Armed Forces had displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during the operation. He said the forces gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. Mr Modi also added that the entire nation salutes the armed forces for their valour.
The Prime Minister said Operation Sindoor reflected India’s firm response against terrorism and its unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security. He noted that the operation also highlighted the professionalism, preparedness and coordinated strength of the armed forces. Mr Modi added that the operation showcased the growing jointness among the forces and underlined the strength that India’s pursuit of self-reliance in the defence sector has brought to national security.
In his Sanskrit Subhashitam, the Prime Minister also said that the extraordinary victory achieved by India in Operation Sindoor is an inspiring example of the remarkable valour and patriotism of the brave soldiers of the country.
