External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar today held a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas in Brussels. In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said that they had useful discussions on West Asia and the need to ensure peace and stability. The two leaders also exchanged views on the importance of safe and unimpeded maritime commerce.
The Minister also shared that they spoke about advancing the India – EU Strategic Partnership to ensure supply chain resilience. In another post, Ms Kallas said, this is a historic year for India-EU relations, with the cooperation between both sides deepening across trade, technology, security and defence.
