Global Dryland Congress 2026 is underway in New Delhi

The three-day Global Dryland Congress 2026 is underway in New Delhi. The programme is being held on the theme, “Transforming Dryland Agriculture with South-South Cooperation.” Panel discussions are being held on various themes, including “Breeding for Tomorrow: Accelerating Genetic Gains” and “Climate-Resilient Dryland Landscapes.” Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will address the Congress in the post lunch session.
