Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister interacted with workers and toured the manufacturing unit alongside the Chief Minister to review its facilities and operations. The two leaders also visited a product exhibition showcasing items manufactured at the facility.

According to an official statement, the new unit is aimed at strengthening the textile and apparel manufacturing sector while supporting industrial development in the region. The facility is expected to generate employment opportunities, particularly for women, and contribute to the local economy.

The inauguration also reflects efforts to expand manufacturing activities in Uttar Pradesh and promote investment in the textile and apparel sector.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the Air Force Day Aerial Display 2026 at Namo Ghat as the Chief Guest.

The aerial display is expected to feature a range of Indian Air Force aircraft, including the indigenous Tejas light combat aircraft, the Light Combat Helicopter Prachand, the Su-30MKI and Rafale fighter jets, along with transport aircraft.
