Amid speculations over a leadership change in Pakistan, that country’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again said that the ‘fear of war between India and Pakistan – two nuclear powers – will remain’ as long as the Kashmir issue is unresolved. In an interview to Geo TV, Imran Khan claimed that he ‘knows India better than anyone else’ as he has many friends in India.

“Until the Kashmir issue is resolved, the fear of war between the two nuclear powers will remain intact,” Imran Khan said. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader claimed that he had approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi as soon as he came to power in Islamabad.

“I told PM Narendra Modi if he took one step forward, I would take two,” he told Geo TV. Reiterating his often-repeated claims, Imran Khan alleged that ‘India has fallen prey to RSS ideology’.
