In a shocking diplomatic blunder, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, *Ishaq Dar, openly admitted that Pakistan succeeded in lobbying to have the name of **The Resistance Front (TRF)* removed from a *United Nations Security Council (UNSC)* statement—just days after TRF claimed responsibility for the *Pahalgam terror attack* on innocent tourists.

The statement was captured in a video shared by WION News, where Dar boasts:
“We got TRF reference removed from the UNSC statement.”

The Resistance Front, a Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy, is the same group that took credit for the heinous attack on unarmed tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir—a brazen act of terror that left 26 innocent civilians killed and many injured and the region in shock.

And yet, instead of condemning TRF, Pakistan’s Deputy PM was busy sanitizing its name at the UN.

This move has drawn sharp condemnation from India and the global community.
India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, *Harish Parvathaneni, slammed Pakistan as the “global epicenter of terrorism*,” calling out its hypocrisy in fighting terror while shielding those who spread it.

> “You don’t plead for a terror outfit unless you’re protecting it. And you don’t protect it unless you’re linked to it,” remarked a senior Indian diplomat.

Pakistan’s actions once again expose its *deep-rooted nexus with terrorism*. After sheltering UN-listed terror leaders and enabling cross-border attacks, it’s now lobbying for global amnesty for groups like TRF.

The question the world must ask:
If Pakistan has “no ties” to TRF, why is it defending it?
