In USA, thousands of protesters took to the streets across the nation on Saturday, in the second wave of protests against President Donald Trump this month. As per the media reports, the protesters decried Trump’s recent actions and labeled them as a threat to fundamental democratic principles of the US. Known as 50-50-1, for 50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement”, the demonstrations coincided with the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolutionary War. Large scale anti-Trump protests rocked the streets of various cities all the way from New York to San Francisco, Washington, Chicago, to various other areas like Rhode Island, Maryland, Wisconsin, Tennessee, South Carolina, Manhattan, Boston etc.
The protests addressed a number of Trump actions, including initiative to cut US government jobs and other Washington’s efforts to deport scores of immigrants.
