India won a silver medal at the ongoing ISSF World Shooting Championships in Doha today. The Indian trio of Manu Bhaker, Suruchi Singh and Sainyam secured the silver medal in the women’s 10-metre air pistol team event. China won the gold medal in the event. With this silver medal, India’s overall medal tally has risen to four, comprising one gold and three silver medals.
However, Manu and Suruchi endured a disappointing outing in the women’s 10 metre air pistol individual event at the Championships today, finishing outside the medal positions and missing out on the coveted quota places for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
