The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has carried out searches in the HPZ Crypto Currency Token Fraud case, exposing a large-scale transnational cyber fraud running into hundreds of crores rupees.
The coordinated search operations were conducted yesterday at seven locations across Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, as part of ongoing operation chakra-v.
During the action, incriminating digital evidence and financial records were obtained.
In this case, the CBI has also arrested five accused for their active involvement in executing the fraud.
