CEC Gyanesh Kumar meets King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in Thimpu

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar today met the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, in Thimpu. In a social media post, the Election Commission of India said that the meeting reflects the deep and enduring friendship and democratic cooperation between India and Bhutan. Mr Kumar, who is on a three-day visit to Bhutan, will attend Bhutan’s National Voters Day, to be observed tomorrow.
