The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today arrested a Faridabad resident for harbouring terrorist Umar Un Nabi immediately before the Delhi terror blast. In a statement, NIA informed that the accused, identified as Soyab from Faridabad in Haryana, was the seventh prime accused to be arrested in the case.
According to NIA, investigations have revealed that Soyab had provided logistical support to terrorist Umar Un Nabi ahead of the 10th November car bombing that killed several persons and left many others injured outside the Red Fort in the national capital. The anti-terror agency added that interrogation of the arrested individuals is continuing as part of efforts to unravel the full terror conspiracy behind the blast. It stated that the agency also working closely with police forces across multiple states, conducting searches to identify, track, and arrest additional members of the module involved in the gruesome attack.
