Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pension, Dr. Jitendra Singh, has formally inaugurated the IIAS-DARPG India Conference 2025 in New Delhi today. During his address, the minister said that it was a proud moment for India to host this conference for the first time. He highlighted the country’s rapid economic growth and said that most of the reforms that were brought under the NDA government are not merely governance reforms but have a huge socio-economic impact as well.

The theme for this year’s conference is the Next Generation Administrative Reforms—Reaching the Last Mile. This is the first time India is hosting the IIAS Conference on Public Administration, making it the first South Asian country to do so.
