Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has signed an agreement with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research for collaborative research, technology development and resource sharing to advance human sustenance and performance in extreme environments.

In a social media post, DRDO said that the partnership will leverage complementary expertise to drive innovation for the design and development of instruments for high altitude survival, human performance restoration, off-grid energy systems and managing waste in challenging terrains.
