Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that the government aims to bring the country among the top 10 sporting nations by the year 2036. Launching an athlete App during the 75th anniversary celebration of the National Rifle Association of India in New Delhi, Mr Mandaviya said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has shown immense growth in sports. He said that with the right planning, integration, and commitment, the country can emerge as one of the world’s leading sporting nations in the years ahead.
The Sports Minister also unveiled NRAI’s special 75-year commemorative logo, which symbolises seven and a half decades of excellence, discipline, and achievement in Indian shooting.
