Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh and Minister-President of Thuringia, Germany, Mario Voigt, today held discussions on quantum communication, photonics and industry-led deep-tech partnerships in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh said that the country today hosts the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem and offers significant opportunities for international collaboration across biotechnology, healthcare, water technologies, artificial intelligence and space technologies. Dr Singh said that India and Germany share a strong partnership rooted in science, technology, innovation and people-to-people ties. He said, scientific collaboration between the two nations has emerged as one of the strongest pillars of bilateral engagement and continues to create new opportunities in frontier areas of research, innovation and industrial development.
