Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Jagat Prakash Nadda today said that India is well-positioned to emerge as a global hub for Pharma and MedTech innovation while ensuring affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare for all. In a social media post, Mr Nadda said that he chaired the Consultative Committee Meeting of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers on Innovation in the Pharma and MedTech Sectors. The Minister said that during the meeting he deliberated on strengthening India’s Research and Development and innovation ecosystem, promoting innovation in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices, enhancing clinical research, and building a globally competitive healthcare industry.
