India will host the BRICS Youth Ministers’ Meeting and the BRICS Sports Ministers’ Meeting at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The BRICS Youth Ministers’ Meeting will be held tomorrow, while the BRICS Sports Ministers’ Meeting will be held on 23rd of this month.
The meetings will be chaired by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, with Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse, participating in the proceedings.
Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry said that the BRICS Youth Ministers’ Meeting will focus on strengthening cooperation in youth development and empowerment, with discussions covering education, skills, entrepreneurship, wellbeing and sustainable development. It added that the BRICS Sports Ministers’ Meeting will bring together Sports Ministers and Heads of Delegation from the 11 BRICS member countries to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in sports.
