The Ministry of Earth Sciences hosted a meeting with delegates from UK Research and Innovation to further strengthen India-UK cooperation in science, climate research, and innovation. In a social media post, the Ministry said that their discussions highlighted the long-standing partnership, which has supported impactful scientific initiatives and innovation-driven solutions.

The meeting focused on expanding collaborative efforts in areas such as geohazards, climate resilience, advanced technologies, and bilateral research programmes. The engagement also explored future opportunities for deeper scientific collaboration aimed at supporting sustainable development, knowledge exchange, and shared global scientific priorities. Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Dr M. Ravichandran, chaired the meeting.
