India and the United Kingdom held negotiations for the India-UK Social Security Agreement on Double Contributions in New Delhi. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the two sides concluded a mutually beneficial agreement that eliminates dual social security payments and benefits employers and cross-border talents of both countries. The meeting was attended by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, PS Gangadhar and UK National Insurance Policy Deputy Director Edmund Hair between the 21st and 22nd of this month.
