South Korea’s defence ministry has reported that North Korea has sent approximately 200 long-range artillery pieces, missiles, and over 11,000 troops to support Russia in the war against Ukraine. They warn that additional troops and weapons could follow.

The ministry also suggested that North Korea may be receiving Russian technological assistance for advanced weapons like nuclear-powered submarines and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Meanwhile, Pyongyang continues missile tests and provocations, appearing to angle for potential talks with the U.S., while a senior Russian official has reiterated that all of President Putin’s conditions must be met to end the conflict in Ukraine.
