Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, completed 12 years today. The first episode of the programme was broadcast on this day in 2014, on the occasion of Vijayadashami. The 138th episode of Mann Ki Baat was broadcast recently. Over the past 12 years, Mann Ki Baat has provided a unique platform to highlight the positive transformation taking place across the country and to encourage citizens to participate actively in India’s development journey.
Through the monthly programme, the Prime Minister shares inspiring stories of people from across the country who are making a difference in areas including education, healthcare, environmental conservation, innovation and social service.
Mann Ki Baat is broadcast across the Akashvani and Doordarshan networks, and is also available on the AIR News website and the Newsonair mobile app. The programme is also live-streamed on the YouTube channels of AIR News, DD News, the PMO and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
