Addressing a community event in The Hague, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the warmth and enthusiasm of the gathering made him feel he is attending a festival in India. He described The Hague as a living symbol of India-Netherlands friendship and noted that Dutch leaders consistently praise the contribution of the Indian diaspora. Prime Minister Modi said every Indian feels proud of the diaspora’s role in strengthening the society and economy of the Netherlands. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled that on May 16, 2014, the results of the Lok Sabha elections paved the way for the formation of a stable majority government in India after decades. He said the trust and support of crores of Indians continue to inspire him to work tirelessly for the nation.
