In Bihar, as a part of the Voter Rights Yatra, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Deo in Aurangabad district. He offered prayers at the world-famous Deo Sun Temple. Today marks the second day of his Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar.
The objective of the Yatra is to oppose the process of ongoing special intensive revision of the voters’ list in Bihar. Leaders of the INDI alliance are also participating in it. The 16-day yatra will pass through more than twenty districts of the state and conclude on 1st September at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
During his campaign this morning, Rahul Gandhi visited Amba, Kutumba, Patalganga, and other areas of Aurangabad. On this occasion, Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram, and Vikassheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahani were also present. Today, Mr. Gandhi will visit Guraru, Bagdiha, Daudnagar, and Panchanpur before reaching Gaya. In the evening, he will also address a public meeting at Khalish Park, Gaya.
