Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal today addressed the gathering of industry leaders along with Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi in Mumbai.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal encouraged stakeholders to leverage the growth opportunities and explore new avenues of collaboration. Mr. Goyal also emphasised the immense potential to deepen the India-UAE trade and investment partnership, with enhanced cooperation in critical sectors such as green energy, AI, fintech, food security and healthcare innovation.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi also held a productive meeting with stakeholders from the Food and Beverages sector. The ministers discussed various initiatives to boost agriculture trade and create new opportunities for exporters. Further they explored new avenues of cooperation in food security, innovation, sustainability, and resilient value chains.
The ministers also reaffirmed shared commitment to creating lasting prosperity for farmers, businesses, and consumers across both nations.
