Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh said that India is being recognised among the top scientific research and innovation producers in the world. The Minister said this while unveiling the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave-ESTIC 2025 in New Delhi today.
He said that the growth in the economy of the country today is primarily happening as a result of the technology push that was received during the last decade. Praising the efforts of the scientific fraternity, he said that scientists raised the esteem of the nation. Mr Singh said that India is no longer following others in terms of technology. The Minister stated that conclaves like ESTIC are occasions for the government to find out the next generation of talent.
