The Government has refuted a false video circulated by Pakistani propaganda accounts, purportedly showing India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Parvathaneni Harish. The video falsely claims that, during a UNSC meeting on the Situation in Afghanistan, Mr. Harish said Amnesty International had analysed 2 thousand 596 Indian shipments to Israel since October 2023. The fact check unit of the Press Information Bureau has termed the claim as fake and AI-generated. PIB has further clarified that Ambassador Harish did not make any such statement.
